Project encompassed the deployment of a new Product Estimating Module to streamline product cost estimating business practices for Product Engineers/Procurement Specialist, Packaging Specialist, that were previously manually based from Excel Spread Sheets and Individual Cost Estimator personal develop historical databases of key process cost, tooling/gauging cost, Packaging/Logistics, Material Handling Cost and induvial Point of Manufacture Fixed and Variable Cost Information. The TCPCM application capabilities included a cost estimating for all GM Product/Tooling Cost Management activities to replace a wide range of manual disparaged product cost estimating techniques/methodologies and historical knowledge information that where cost estimators were using emails and individual estimator home-grown Excel unstructured data spread sheets that resided in Cost Estimator Desktops/laptops. The existing cost estimation development process utilized a manual, email based disconnected distribution/collection of data from internal Data sources such as GM Product Engineering, GM Procurement, GM Packaging/Logistics. GM Financial Management organizations. Project included the development of a Business case and Business Benefit assessment and project deployment lifecycle road mapping. Project plan included strategy creation of how to elicit and manage sources of disparaged data, information flows, and non-existing interfaces/integrations into other enterprise business process applications and data repositories.  

·     Scope of General Motors project included providing a integrating the TCPCM application/tool with existing Siemens 9.1 Team Center PDM/PLM solutions that maintained corporate-wide BOM, product engineering attributes data from Siemens 9.1 Team Center 3D CAD Catia V4-V5  environments, GM Internal  Product Volume and Product mix Solutions, PLM Engineering Change Processes, Procurement Cost Estimating Request for Quotation processes, to serve as integrated corporate knowledge base to establish target component piece or sub assembly prices for all worldwide vehicle platforms individual component, sub assembly or assembly individual Piece Cost. Solution also included Vendor Tooling cost estimates and database of historical data used by GM Purchasing in the negotiation with GM supply base contracts.

·     Project Manager on a short (4) week project with Pratt and Whitney to coordinate the component/unit and enterprise end to end testing of Pratt and Whitney Siemens Team Center 10.1 environment using HPQC 10.1/ Micro-Focus application testing solution. The Test Planning and Testing efforts were performed to validate the functionality for the launch of Pratt and Whitney ITAR Import/Export compliance capabilities to their existing Siemens 10.1 PLM/PDM solution to meet government defense industry, DOD import/export intellectual property compliance requirements.  Activities included defining and programming the application test Script creation. Application Testing Validation that was completed in a little over 1.5 months which enabled Pratt and Whitney to return to being able to re-outsource over 70% of their Product Engineering activities to global design providers that had been restricted by the DOD due to PW not complying with Government ITAR Regulations for intellectual property. The project enabled PW save more than $1B yearly by returning to their previously used Product Design outsourcing model.

·     Work at Ryder Transportation Service to identify and define the vision/scope for customization efforts needed to deploy a home grown TMS Transportation Management Solution to replace the functionalities in individual Ryder location-based Desk Top Transportation Management and Payroll Solution called RD2K in all Ryder distribution, cross docking and Just in Time, Kanban support service business.

·     Ryder project scope included conceptualization and transition planning of the current ILMS solution to perform the functions of fourteen (14) disparaged Ryder Solutions used for estimating Supply Chain Transportation Movement, Distribution Management, Warehouse Management, Truck Cubing and Route Optimization, into an enterprise integrated ILMS application and data warehouse/marts.

·     Key Integrations included combining Ryders ILMS to other individual based Logistic Management System for Route Optimization solutions such as Appian, Trans molder, and Lam-soft to have the ability to perform integrated real-time dynamic route planning and route changes with the Ryder Over the Road Trucking Fleet

·     Set up a Caterpillar unique IAM-InfoSec-27001 Information security audit model and establish a process for on-site supplier audits for all Caterpillar Non-Productive material suppliers to be authorized to access Caterpillar SAP ERP Applications for MRO Ordering and MRO Inventory Management solutions to streamline and provide transparency of Caterpillar solutions for their supply chain partners for the Supplier replenishment of MRO supplies similar to the same process used for Product Material Monitoring and Ordering .The solution allowed monitoring of some suppliers MRO inventory levels including the ordering, delivery, labeling, and receiving processes for those MRO suppliers.   Project resulted in some cases over 50% downtime reduction improvement by having the right supplies, at the right time for changeovers, which allowed smaller batch sizes for product variations being made on the same equipment. The solution grew in scope to deploy the solution at all Caterpillar East Peoria Campus  manufacturing facilities each making unique Products or Components primarily through changeover readiness improvement their complex CNC machining centers and process by ensuring the correct MRO replacement of cutting tool supplies existed at the different building on the campus to ensure at individual machine product changeovers, had correct MRO tooling supplies that supported production manufacturing operations at the right time, in the right quantity with the correct machine tool for product/tool change over for machine tool assets configuration/design. The solution also provided the ability to monitor the use of tools for reuse of the tool by controlling and monitoring used tool wear MTBF-MTTR tracking that was manually occurring at Caterpillars CNC Machining Centers so they could be refurbished for reuse at Caterpillar Machine tool repair supplier partners.

·     Crisis Management Project Manager to resolve Access Management and Authentication of over 50 disparaged home grown and COTS solutions into an integrated Business Process Information Management solutions that supported the rollout of all of BCBS end to end Insurance business processes solutions that were been being modified to support October 1, 2013, Obama Care Health Care Regulations that required Health Care Insurance Providers to offer insurance policies to individuals in lieu of the large group policies that BCBS had previously offered as their product.

·     Served as Business Process Integration troubleshooter to understand the integration requirements of various BCBS home grown and COTS insurance applications that were used for Prospecting, Product Management, Pricing/Quoting, Billing, Coverage Assessments, and Financial Collection system to support various Obama National Health Care Reform government mandates that affected the Enterprises Applications and Supporting Infrastructure.

The project evolved to included identification of all  primary data sources and setting up a MDM strategy and data collection process to collect all Enterprise Data to understand the scope of the additional modifications needed of these 50+ applications to support individual insurance policy products into the existing infrastructure for Data Access, Data Transfer and Data Sharing

·     Project scope and define requirements included modification of adjoining existing networking interfaces of BCBS Infrastructure and Business Process Solutions including all interfaces into National NASCO reporting solution, and to place all integration work efforts into a overall project management approach for the connectivity and interface of all internal and 3rd Party solutions where business process outsourcing had occurred to support the individual insurance coverage mandates/products.
